I almost got hit by a falling pinecone. It made a thud really close, I could feel the thud by my foot, on the ground.
Someone tell me the odds.

It happened! It actually finally happened! A cone scraped me in the ear. Now on my lifelong bucket list is to see a pinecone fall straight into the firepit.
