  I need help: $0 / $600 (PLEASE BOOST) Friends, my family and I have found each other in a bad situation.   It’s telling that the only out trans woman in my masters in social work cohort (me) has 20 years experience in community development, a masters in public policy, and postgraduate research experience. Heck, I’m the only out trans and gender diverse person other than nonbinary she/they femmes. Just to be here, I have to be far beyond “queer excellence” and this isn’t even an elite university.

  Okay, so if Green Lanterns are selected as individuals who have a uniquely indomitable will and are fearless, why aren’t most human green lanterns trans??? Show me another set of humans whose wills are so strong they reject every social and legal pressure or threat, they declare and manifest themselves in the world, and even reshape their very bodies to match their will. Show me another group who has confronted their deepest, darkest, most hidden fear and then went and lived in and through it.
