Awwwww yeah, my postcards and stickers have arrived. Artwork by @deborahh@cosocial.ca, used with permission. Who should I write to first? I'm thinking maybe the environment minister. #ThisIsNotFine

The same printer has three different aliases on the same computer. When the printer just had one alias, it refused to take instruction from the computer. But now I send one document to print at all three different aliases at once, and then the printer races with itself to comply.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@TheBreach/116777031929770705 I found this interview frustrating. The government is clearly determined to use its weight to trample workers' rights and the unions are like "it's okay, we'll just democratically discourse until they change their mind." USE YOUR WEIGHT.

"Despite meeting multiple times each month since September, the union says the main sticking point with the airline is the approximately 35 hours of unpaid work it says flight attendants are required to perform each month. According to CUPE, many flight attendants in Canada are generally not paid their regular hourly wages during boarding, pre-flight safety checks and other delays." https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/article/westjet-flight-attendants-escalate-contract-dispute/

Your time has value. Take it back.

RE: https://ottawa.place/@Cassandra/116907184953118397 This is an example of a thing people in Canada could send postcards to parliamentarians about. A far cry from the outdoor paradise portrayed in tourism ads. #ThisIsNotFine

23 and rainy > 32 and sunny, so I went for a walk. Learned that some Bank of Canada people have been on strike for 17 days, and the employer brought in scabs, and the CIRB said "no, you have to get rid of the scabs," and that's expected to happen in the next couple of days. Also apparently the people on strike have been allowed to work from home. The person I spoke to seemed annoyed about this because it meant fewer Canadians were aware of their action.
