Perhaps one of the most important takeaways here is that at no point did the democratic party promote unyielding defense or support for Swalwell. Flawed as they may be, they don’t have the level of “party over people” that republicans demonstrate when something similar happens. Remind your conservative acquaintances of that.

Apparently this was a known thing around Washington and they just cut him loose when they needed to. Both parties cover this shit up.

Yeah but this eating our own while Republicans stay in office only benefits R’s. I know Gonzales “retired”, but that is by and large the exception AND only happened after Dems experienced an equal loss of one, leaving the House math unchanged. We need to stop taking the high ground while the rules are unequally applied.
