@itsfoss@mastodon.social If I should start using it, it needs to be compatible with my Murena /eOS/ phone and my Linux pc andmy tablet. I don't want to by new devices to be able to read. Also, where does the content come from? Will I be able to read kindle books...? Or how does it work.

@itsfoss@mastodon.social No ebook reader requires DRM on eBooks, not even the locked down Kindle. Kindle can be used without Amazon. The Kindle is the only ereader that phones home & only if WiFi is on. Ebooks load via USB. Buttons for page turn are good & can be ignored. 4.2″ is too small for most people, though there are some smaller. There were 5″ ereaders, but they'll not be back. 6″ is OK and 7″ or 8″ are very good. 480 × 800 is poor. CPU too cheap & slow. OS doesn't mean a free ride!

@itsfoss@mastodon.social Sounds very interesting, but 4.2 inch seems awfully small.
