@wordstitcher@thecanadian.social @AnnieBuddy@thecanadian.social I think we should be charging them a lot more for the privledge, if it's going to happen at all. And I don't mean the outfitters should charge, I mean the taxes and fees paid should be higher, money into the tax base and into Ministry of Natural Resources, and money straight back to First Nations.

@ZenHeathen@beige.party @wordstitcher@thecanadian.social @AnnieBuddy@thecanadian.social I like your idea except I would prefer it if we didn't tell First Nations how to manage the lands and wildlife they own and need to survive. Maybe it would be fairer if we took a step back and at the same time offered assistance to support decisions they make, through providing officers to enforce whatever laws they put into place?
