I had never thought this will happen but yesterday, I submitted a request to cancel my GNOME Foundation membership. The project has become a home for a bunch of toxic (some extremely, some less so) people, who are not only working against the interests of the future of the project, but also bullying anyone who doesn't agree with them. I don't want to be associated with such people in any way. Besides, it's not like I have made any direct contributions to the project for more than a decade now. So nobody is going to miss me.
