I find this comment funny as fuck because I regularly get too cold at 69 and put the thermostat at 70 to be comfortable.

A home thermostat will commonly have a multi degree range for turning on and off to avoid excessive cycling and then individual rooms can have multi degree differences from the thermostat and then even in an individual room you can get multi degree differences from the ceiling to the floor So while changing the actual setpoint can change it from comfortable to uncomfortable you still likely can’t tell the difference between a 1F difference That is before even accounting for humidity or airflow which can make even bigger differences
