I’ve switched to kagi.
It’s not free, but it’s absolutely the best IMO.
When I search something I don’t see an AI summary. Not sure if I disabled that or not.

It only triggers if you end the query with a ? or you can turn that off too in the settings kagi.com/settings/ai
