#Google paid $10 million at auction for #Spirit airlines' #data, agreeing to hire a third-party to scrub the data of personally-identifying info (PII).
Google said it bought the data to "improve" its #AI models.
The dataset focused heavily on former employee info going back decades, incl ~100 million employee emails, HR info, payroll data & "data measuring employee behaviors, activity, and productivity," as well as "computer programs, applications & code."
