I was watching a video about things in video games that you stop liking as you get older. I'm not sure if I agree, because I've never liked some of them.

1) Not being able to pause. — Okay. I agree. Sometimes you need to pause at a certain point. I admit that sometimes, the worst part of playing online is that you can’t pause or stop when you need to. I’ve actually had some bad experiences with that (a little traumatic even).

2) Save mechanics that are a pain. — This refers to having to wait for the game to let you save or having to go back to a certain point (maybe 20 minutes into the game) to save. You’re right. I only have one caveat: the fact that having to plan your return to a save point adds to the atmosphere. I prefer the *Generation Zero* effect, where I forced myself to return to a safe place to log off… but in reality, you could leave at any time.
