@nuintari@mastodon.bsd.cafe See, I don't even run a VPN. I'm terrified of it. We use sophisticated things to copy stuff on the local machines when we are traveling, but I just can't trust the fact that I will keep a VPN endpoint up to date enough that I would want it with access to any part of my home network whatsoever.
I guess this goes along with my normal line. "Why did you even put that on the internet?"

@Sempf@infosec.exchange My torrent network is isolated from the rest of my network. Stuff can go in, stuff cannot come back out. I don't trust torrent providers as far as I can throw them, and they are intangible. But, I need to mask my identify/location sufficiently to be the pirate that I am.
