Imagine all the billions going to the military going into universal healthcare instead.
The USA would turn into the healthiest country of the whole planet in a matter of weeks.
People would actually want to go to the doctor and spend time in the hospital. The food would be better too.
And if that doesn’t blow your mind, imagine how much bigger that budget would be if there was no tax breaks for big companies either.

What many don’t understand is that universal healthcare would decrease the overall amount spent on healthcare by giving one buyer (the government) enormous leverage over multiple sellers, enabling it to negotiate on price in the same manner that other single-payer healthcare systems do.
