@the_turtle@mastodon.sdf.org I don't know exactly what it is, and it's different than something like fiction written by a person, or a funny photoshop.
Edit to add- it might go along with the "ultra-processed food" idea that @christianrickert@23.social mentioned upthread.

@chillicampari@layer8.space @pheonix@hachyderm.io @christianrickert@23.social i see parts of it as rather freeing for some people who just don't have the skills to do it by hand or in Photoshop, or the money or patience to hire an artist to explain "I need a bridesmaid in distress being chased by hundreds of giant hot dogs in the Niagara River" or "I need an image of Anne Hathaway confidently leading an army of blue giraffes on the Moon."
