I've been using the word "nonplussed" wrong thing whole time. It means surprised/perplexed, not unbothered

@mayorbeetles@pagan.plus it’s one of those words that flipped to an opposite meaning at some point in casual American speech. It originally meant “that’s the limit, I can’t take any more” and flipped later to mean unbothered. Idk why.
