We see this in staggered office/factory work hours, boarding commercial flights, etc. In this case, Apple boards their first-class iPhone Pro buyers ahead of a crowd that wants to fondle the Duo but not necessarily buy. What it minimizes is traffic jams that would block Apple from customers’ money.
