I love that we have a national broadcaster. I love that they frequently make cool shows that reflect our culture. I love that they have a streaming service where you can watch those cool shows for free. I wish the government would give them more money so they wouldn't have to show ads or charge a subscription fee. I very strongly dislike that Gem uses ads served by AdChoices - a cartel of various advertisers, such as Google, created to protect their business model and give the illusion of choice to viewers and avoid government oversight of their industry. I hate that lately some of these ads have teenie-tiny print in the corner that says "This ad contains synthetic actors."
