I was listening to Garbage's albums on random yesterday when I was out on my walk.
A track from "No Gods No Masters" played and it made me think about the saying, "No gods, no masters."

I like that saying. I can groove with it. But when I say, "No gods, no masters." to myself, I don't mean that I disbelieve in gods. I have no idea if those things really exist or they're purely figments of human imagining. Beats me. And I see that as largely irrelevant. Because what *I* mean by , "No gods, no masters." is that I defy both human and divine authority, regardless of the existence or nonexistence of either. They're both worthless, tyrannical bullshit.
