@jaapio@phpc.social If you're into history I'd stop by the Saalburg when you're in Frankfurt.
And on the way down to Frankfurt there's always Limburg with it's nice old town and cathedral.
The cathedral of Mainz is also IMO quite impressive as is the Church of St. Stephan with the windows made by Marc Chagall.
And I mean.... depends on when you are traveling ... you're always welcome in The Shire ๐

@jaapio@phpc.social And I mean... I do hope you are planning to travel from Coblenz towards Frankfurt via the Rhine Valley. I recommend the western route. Although the Marksburg is worth a visit. But you can cross the Rhine in St. Goar. The Loreley is IMO much more impressive from below. And if you're into German monstrosities after winning the 1870/71 war against france: The Niederwald-Monument is ... at least providing an impressive view ๐ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niederwald_monument
