Just learned that the A in American arms stands for Alteration (M stands for Model) and E stands for Engineering=Prototype.
Meanwhile Russian weapon names are always unique and humourous, like Tulip, Hurricane, Buratino (=Russian Pinocchio), Smile, Housefly, Hello, Gnome, etc.
