Just watched an Instagram video of something way outside my experience. ... It costs Nurses £143.00 a year to be on the NMC register so they can be a nurse... that seems ridiculous ... It costs them to train .... so they start their career in debt.... I appreciate Dr's.. Legal etc all end up with Student loan debts... which I think is nuts but at this end of the employment market... it's not right to penalise Nurses further I appreciate i have expressed this badly but it was an impulse posting when annoyed

  • @PGBeattie@mastodonapp.uk Paying yearly fees to work is nothing new for professionals and other workers. Even company truck drivers pay annual fees, and owner operators face far more expernses.
