I think that’s different though bud… Let’s try a more blatant example for clarification, imagine you said the following about someone who murdered his wife: “personally I don’t blame him for killing his bitch of a wife, although I disagree” the issue here is that you, like Sheeran, seem to think that staying neutral on genocide is being neutral even though you clearly know better than that… what you said armounts to “I would have done the same as Sheeran, if I were in his shoes”
