Im on letters 857 of Vincent van gogh's letters, out of 902. So reading the letters made me feel a real dislike of him or at least his behavior. He's an awful misogynist at a time when that wasn't guaranteed, horribly manipulative of his brother... ...but I find myself pulling for him with real sadness as he is in the asylum.
