I've turned down 6 and 7 figure offers, and I'd do it again tomorrow. Some things matter more than a beach and a Peach Bellini.

@dansup@mastodon.social I don't want to rain on your parade, but I really don't understand this (nor Kempf's refusal to sell VLC). Just take the seven-figure offer and fork the software ? The brand has some value, sure, but what should be important is the software itself.
