Some people have been celebrating the arrival of rain finally. And we did have 2 spells of overnight rain here a few nights ago. But the county's rainfall for the month of July was 0.4mm, and so far in August I've had about 3mm. Let's not assume that everywhere is now recovering. It will take a lot more than 3mm for mature trees to start recovering.
