The Terminator movies were wrong. The nightmare AI scenario isn't that Skynet becomes sentient and launches the nukes that kill us all. The nightmare AI scenario is that Skynet is dumb as fuck but tells someone in meatspace to launch the nukes that kill us all and then they do it.
