@Unixbigot@aus.social for anybody contemplating doing this too: iOpeners are bullshit. A heated 3d printer bed works great as a hot plate though.

@Unixbigot@aus.social "too hot to comfortably touch" 🤔 Luckily all humans have fingertips and nervous systems which are regularly tested and recalibrated, so THTCT is a universally agreed temperature standard, and doesn't rely at all on whether one is in a foundry, or at an Arctic research station.
