I'm here at DenFur 2026, and I just updated my e-ink badge to reflect my current chosen name of Berte Bórquez (the first name going from Berto to Berte to better fit with a sense of non-binaryness -- and Bórquez because BORK.) Oh and yeah, I was able to make the image non-dithered by converting and uploading it specifically as a 1-bit PNG. That's at least for this Badger 2040; I don't have a Badger 2350, so I can't speak to how well it manages images. Art was done last year in LibreSprite via both mouse and touchscreen; current updated text was done the same way. Image converted via GNU IMP. Uploaded to the Badger 2040 via Thonny. Now that I'm done with this badge update, I'm gonna suit up for the evening.
