Another thing from some of the presentations today - most photos & illustrations were uncredited. I know most were not made by the presenter.
One entire graphic was credited to a Slideshare presentation that itself did not credit the creator of the graphic.
Some illustrations were clearly genAI.
But the scientific articles were cited!
To me, this illustrates the lack of respect for the work of photographers, illustrators, artists, graphic designers, etc that paved the way for mass theft.

Then, when it started happening to scientists and programmers, etc...then it suddenly mattered that people were plagiarized and their works modified or used without their permission. But what most were modeling in the presentations for years and continue modeling is that it doesn't matter to you when it happens to people in the arts..."that's not real work". Do better. #Attribution #FuckAI
