Today would've been my grandfather's 105th birthday. To commemorate, I went out and cleaned up around his tombstone while having a small conversation to update him and grandma on how things are going. Sounds crazy, but it actually helps get over suddenly losing them 30 years ago. It still sucks that I wasn't able to say goodbye to either one like the rest of my family, but for some reason, this year it's been a little easier.
