I don't understand the racial aspect of birth rate discourse at all. If there are places that systematically people into move into to get a job and then never have a family, doesn't that mean the place is a bad place, that the city is a humanity crusher where people aren't thriving and living full lives? Isn't it bad for the surrounding country, to have children only to throw them into the meat grinder of a nyc?

  • The goal should be places where people are actually living, where anybody could live an entire life. Instead it's like we have one kind of place you grow up in, another you go to college in, another you find a job in, you move back to the first kind of place to have kids, another kid of place specifically for queer people, and then you go to Florida to retire.
