does anyone else get a jolt of energy when they tell themselves they're gonna go to sleep?
it feels like my body's like "nuh uh, you're staying up a few hours longer, buddy"

i get consecutive jolts of energy on some sundays because that's when dad goes out to buy food for me and my brother, and it's always best right when it arrives
