My ears are pierced. I habitually wear stud earrings all the time. Last night, while getting ready for bed, I caught a butterfly clip in my clothing. I didn’t notice it was missing for a while. I got a torch, and scanned the carpet for glints of gold, but couldn’t see the errant clip. Well, reader, I looked again this morning. I was on the point of giving up when I found the clip. Yay!
