I must confess that I will occasionally zone out while standing in the shower. Sometimes I’m deep in thought, while at other times I have orange cat energy. It seems that I should not do this, that way I can save water for an AI to think for me instead.

I turn on the tap, regulate the temperature, wet myself all over, then turn it off. Then I wash myself, and then I turn on the tap again, regulate the temperature, and rinse myself off. Then I turn the tap off again, and I'm done. It's been working pretty well. :-)
