So, I injured myself today.
Picking up a pumpkin.
A pumpkin that weighs about 56 kilograms. (120 lbs).
You might think "hernia," but it was weirder than that. I successfully picked it up from the boot of my friend's car, but as I was carrying it to the boot of my care, there was a sudden "pop" in my spine, right between the bottom of my shoulder blades. It felt as if the top part of my spine slipped off the lower part of my spine. Suddenly my chest hurt a LOT. 1/4

Miraculously, I didn't drop the pumpkin. It was also a miracle that the friend I was with is 1) one if the sweetest angels I know and 2) a school nurse. I'm also lucky to have an acupuncturist for a partner, and I reported to her as soon as I caught my breath. (I was having trouble breathing, almost as if I had been hit hard in the chest.) . 2/4
