📚 I just finished reading The Coming of Neo-Feudalism: A Warning to the Global Middle Class by Joel Kotkin What an absolutely godawful book. Kotkin has obviously no interest or any knowledge of the European feudal societies of medieval times. He uses this lack of knowledge to shoehorn his theory into. It just doesn't work. Yes, big tech entrepreneurs are rich arseholes. That has nothing to do with how feudalism worked. Fuck off, Kotkin.
