@theropologist I haven't had any issues with the images loading. I'm using FediLab on Android most of the time. Good luck with finding the reason, and hopefully, a solution. :bb:

@theropologist I’ve been having issues with the internet generally (random slowness on lots of unrelated sites that aren’t all aws based) on multiple devices so I haven’t noticed anything particularly beige.

@theropologist I've had this before but not at the moment, Samsung S22, have seen it on Moshidon and in Phanpy running in Firefox Android, does seem to mostly happen in high volume times for sure

@theropologist Central Alberta, Canada here: Not sure of the dates, but there was a really slow evening a couple weeks ago. Better the next day. A day or two after that I think you'd announced you were going to do some maintenance to sort something out, and then it was fine for a while. Occasionally media-loading still chugs...especially with older posts? Thank you for all that you do! 🙏

@theropologist I’ve been getting these slow load times sporadically, like in intervals as short as say 10 minutes. I wasn’t sure if it was Beige, fedi at large, the app I’m using (Ice Cubes) or some localized throttling. Gifs and videos seem to have a harder time than still images.

@theropologist Eastern Ontario Canada Also evenings. I also check my other account on another instance and no issues there, so not an internet issue for me. It good right now but the last 2 weeks have been hit or miss.

@theropologist I see it periodically. I’m primarily using Ivory on a relatively new iPad with lots of memory. I see it on TL thumbnails as well as the zoom. Oddly, I click on the thumbnail and, just before it drills into the toot, the thumbnail flashes in. Same going back, if the zoom hasn’t loaded. One more anecdote. A few times I’ve seen it, the source was a Pixelfed account. May be coincidence but I saw it enough that it’s worth considering.

@theropologist It always showed the images by 30~60% after my fediverse session, normally an hour or two. Sometime it means I have to wait my favours in the session. Not sure it helps.
