Massive Trigger Warning from Cornell Seriously, if you're sensitive to anything related to SA or you just don't feel like boiling your blood into pudding today, don't follow this. The US 'justice' system is the single worst-named entity on the planet. It's related to seeking justice about as much as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea cares about its people.

This case is such horrific proof that rape culture is still incredibly prevalent in this country. It sickens me and I’m so fucking sad. Definitely try to avoid if it’s triggering. It’s not like there’s anything revolutionary in the details, it’s a case we’ve all heard many times over. It’s enough to stand in solidarity with this Jane Doe and all the Jane Does.

Thanks for sharing this Z. It’s victim blaming in legislation, it’s indefensible and shows how misogynistic the law and justice system can be. The whole case is outrageous… she was failed by her “friend”, everyone in the Snapchat thread, the university, campus police and the DA. I’ve zero doubt the DA used the drunken consent as an excuse… making a decision based on just one statement and snapchat texts is indefensible. Where were the male’s phones? Other witnesses? It’s just awful
