Thanks for sharing this Z. It’s victim blaming in legislation, it’s indefensible and shows how misogynistic the law and justice system can be. The whole case is outrageous… she was failed by her “friend”, everyone in the Snapchat thread, the university, campus police and the DA. I’ve zero doubt the DA used the drunken consent as an excuse… making a decision based on just one statement and snapchat texts is indefensible. Where were the male’s phones? Other witnesses? It’s just awful
