@dgkf@fosstodon.org Codeberg isn't "rolling out" actions. Actions is a piece of the #forgejo universe and because Codeberg runs Forgejo, it can make use of it and provide runners. And their runners exists since quite some time already. Maybe you meant that, but the wording is at least a bit confusing 🙂 (Just saying this as I think the confusion between Codeberg and Forgejo is on a similar level as R vs RStudio.) Actions is compatible with #github actions so porting over to it from the known GHA workflows is certainly easier for most #rstats people than transitioning to #woodpecker. PS: if you need more power in your CI, you might also want to check out @codefloe@social.tchncs.de - more powerful runners there for both Actions and Crow CI (a fork of Woodpecker) compared to Codeberg.

@pat_dev@social.linux.pizza By "rolling out" I was referring to their hosted option. Up until recently they've supported forgejo actions only if you self hosted, but that's a pretty high bar for most folks I'd imagine. Now they have runners available to everyone. I think they refer to their hosted option as "beta" still. They're nearly compatible, but do require changes - most notably using fully qualified domains for action sources. I filed an issue with some enhancement requests https://code.forgejo.org/forgejo/runner/issues/1169
