But usians didn't have that change of feeling out of the goodness of their hearts.
The change came because the u.s. military had its ass kicked hard enough for long enough and there was no visible resolution in the offing.
Were it not for that protracted ass kicking, the average american asshole would still be waving the flag for the next military conquest.

And now the u.s. is having its ass kicked even harder. Good. Maybe that will keep the mass's war lust at bay for longer. Maybe for a generation at this point? Although, I'm not that optimistic.
