@celeduc@mastodon.social You think this is nefarious from the Spanish government or are they just too stupid to understand the basic foundations of the internet?
Generally Sanchez seems to try to do the right thing but also gets it quite spectacularly wrong at times - at least that's how I perceive it.

@thisislieven@c.im I'm always suspicious of government censorship. archive.today threatens the whole advertising media economy, but I'm pointing at Grupo PRISA (El País) because it is the centrist paper of record since the transition, but also because it carries a billion in debt and capital never relinquishes control. I could also point to Grupo Planeta (La Razón) but they have less pull with the gov.
