Most social media platforms seem to be set on making your experience as a user without an account or an app as miserable as possible. I've yet to find one (other than Mastodon) where I can click the link of a **public** post and read its contents and following replies without said platform attempting to coerce me into creating an account and/or downloading an app. Why do people keep putting up with this shit?
