#Electronics question. Imagine you’re building a small guitar amp, like the Ruby or Noisy Cricket, and want to power it using a LiIon or similar battery instead of a 9V block.
Would it be better to use a 1S configuration with a step-up converter (simpler charging circuit, but potentially more noise during operation) or a 3S configuration without the DCDC converter between battery and amp (hopefully no extra noise introduced, but more complex charging circuitry)?
