I Was Sprayed by a Skunk! 🦨💨
This Great Horned Owl was temporarily blinded but thanks to multiple baths at South Plains Wildlife Rehab was cleared for release. Want to donate to South Plains? https://spwrc.org/donate Source: https://fb.com/1664536106954963 #owlsintowels 💛🦉

@owlsintowels@mas.to Well it happens to Opportunistic Carnivores, preying on skunks and animals as large as rabbits. And cats. Almost ideal prey for an owl that size. I wish people kept their cats and smaller dogs inside. GHOs love low light, your back porch light is perfect.

@owlsintowels@mas.to do you think the owl learned it's lesson and won't try that again? Or will it be back next week for another round of deskunkification?
