Get a Baofeng UV-5R, either load DragonOS on a LiveUSB stick or just download Chirp, connect the Baofeng to your computer, go through each tone on your local police department's frequency, and maybe you'll get lucky.

@draken@masto.nyc @sashag@anarres.family My local police department is using an all digital P25 trunking system which is encrypted with AES-256. You're not getting lucky and decrypting that.
