@nickofnz@mastodon.nz If #AI is used to our benefit, e.g. for more autonomy of people with special needs, for data analysis in medicine or regarding climate and biodiversity, it‘s okay for me. But I don’t want #AI in control of my car, or for other superfluous purposes which are just largely #energyconsuming. - For the same reason I hate and refuse all crypto currencies.

@Fietsbel@mastodon.social yeah sure, I can see that there can be some valid used for AI, but it's completely out of control at the moment and burning electricity and water as if we had infinite supplies of both.
