I realised the post I sent out re Nigel didn't get here... A few days before my surgery (~6 weeks ago) I had to make a final appointment (large cell lymphoma) for him. It was the right decision. He was a lovely, lovely boy and I miss him terribly. Rufus, his brother and littermate, is still in mourning, sleeping in Nigel's bucket (where N curled up in his last days), miaoing more, and spending all of what would have been his N cuddle time with me or The Lodger. #CatsOfMastodon
