open the app’s page and expand versions. the last one was just not marked recommended yet, in case there are serious bugs

Found it ! f-droid.org/packages/org.fdroid.fdroid/ I had to go through the Gitlab, browse to “client” (gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroidclient ), and scroll down to the readme section to find the link.
