The Chinese name for today's #KungFuSat film is 江湖情, using the phrase 江湖 (literally "rivers [and] lakes") (jiānghú in Mandarin, gong1 wu4 in Cantonese). Originally a phrase implying a place secluded from the mainstream world, it came to be used other ways, often a mythological setting for stories of martial arts heroes or living the martial arts lifestyle (either heroes or bandits), and later, the modern underworld of gangsters.
